Photography & Wildlife Watching

Great Hagley offers photographers spectacular scenery and due to the peace and tranquillity, the unique opportunity to get close to the wildlife.  Catch a glimpse of pine martins, squirrels, badgers, deer, foxes, bats, frogs and more.

The estate is conservation conscious and encourages the wildlife to thrive in its natural habitat.

Mountain Biking

Bike from your door – Hopton woods trails are some of the best in the UK and with the woods less than half a km away you couldn’t be better placed to ride and explore these brilliant trails.

More info can be found here.

Bucknell woods are also very close (2km) and have some unbelievable natural trails.

You can bring your own bikes or hire them locally at: Blazing Bikes
